3 Steps to Longer and Stronger Hair

 Moisturize---Stimulate----Protect
=Great Hair Growth

Anyone can grow their hair long and healthy, if their haircare regimen consists of three categories. Your routine must moisturize the hair, stimulate the hair root and protect the hair strands. If you are healthy and your hair roots have not been damaged, then implementing these categories into your haircare regimen, will ensure that  you will achieve longer, stronger beautiful hair.

Moisturize
Stimulate
Protect

Your hair and scalp for longer hair growth

Step one: Moisturizing your hair

The best way to keep moisture in your hair is by shampooing your hair once or twice a week using a conditioning cleanser or a non sulfate shampoo.

Always deep condition your hair after cleansing.

Always rinse with cold water during your final cleansing step.

Always use a good leave in conditioner which has the first ingredient listed as water.

Apply natural oils to your scalp and hair daily. Choose natural oils such as: coconut oil, olive oil or avocado oil.

Avoid products with harsh alcohols.

If your hair has a hard time retaining moisture, then give yourself an apple cider vinegar rinse. 1/4 cup of ACV to 2 cups of filtered water, pour over hair and allow to sit for 3 minutes, rinse with cold water. Do this after you rinse out your deep conditioner.

Drink 64 ounces of water daily

Step two: Stimulate

Exercise daily to keep your blood flowing well

Massage your scalp 10 minutes daily. Stimulating your scalp with your fingertips stimulates blood flow which nourishes the hair root where hair growth takes place. Use oils when you massage your scalp

Apply stimulating essential oils that stimulate blood flow. Oils such as peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, coconut oil, ylang ylang oil. Add these oils to a carrier oil and apply 3 times a week.

Step three: Protect

Preserve and protect your hair strands by covering your hair, with a satin scarf or bonnet at bedtime or anytime your head will rub against a surface for long periods of time.

Wear your hair in styles which require less manipulation and the ends of your hair concealed.

Wear hats in the hot weather for protection  from the UV rays.

If your hair has been relaxed or is prone to break easily, get a good protein treatment to strengthen your hair strands and keep them from breaking so easily. Use a product which contains hydrolyzed keratin protein, these small particles of keratin stick to your hair strands and fill in the broken damaged spaces of your hair strands and keep it from breaking off so easily. This enables you to retain more length and see more growth.

So tell me does your haircare regimen cover all these steps?

If you are not getting the results you desire, give your regimen a makeover.

Figure out which step is missing with your haircare regimen and then add it.

  2. I have found that my scalp cannot handle certain oils real well. So I started back with jojoba mixed with pepperment, because jojoba supposed is the closest to our natural sebum.
